Landscape Planning: Foresight is necessary tool

In this article, the reader is educated in procedures on landscape planning. It informs the interested citizen on local governments, planning agencies, and legislatures on planning issues. In planning, there are many elements that are affect the aspects of every day life. Foresight is a necessary tool in planning; inventory and analysis should be performed on ecological and environmental components to inform planning. To insure this type of research the Federal Nature Protection Act is enforced to cover these guidelines: the capacity of the ecosystem, the availability of natural resources, plant and animal species, and the variety, character and beauty of the landscape. Local governments are accountable for the development of the communities and to nurture growth. Landscape planning can be used for urban revitalization that is necessary to protect and improve soil and water for preservation and development of floras and faunas.
