The Nature of Ian McHarg’s Science

Through the reading of Nature of Ian McHarg’s Science, the questions are given to all Landscape Architect. How we keep up with concerning the nature and environment with great methods that most of scientist came up with? As a precursor of Computerized Geographic information system (GIS) especially the promotion of the map over-lay method. I appreciated the fact that he persists to force his opinion with his accuracy reason, based on his experience and co-work with scientists. There might be no perfect solutions to make everything right. But at least the argument that they mention at the end of the article should be useful to redeem our environment issues. What is wrong or what is right is useless and pointless. What is significant point is how we can get help from the method at best.
