I think that this quotation sums up what this article is trying to tell us. "Everyone" loves satellite imagery because it is a fast and easy way to view the earths surface. But if the information isn't correct and humans are having to manipulate data, well what is the point. The purpose of these images are strictly to be used as references and nothing more.
